Riccardo Morelli
Riccardo Morelli is a Master’s student in Economics at the University of Tor Vergata. Within the space sector, he serves as President of SEDS Italy, after previously holding leadership roles in the association where he contributed to both organizational growth and strategic development. Alongside his academic journey, Riccardo has been active in various interdisciplinary projects bridging economics, management, and space policy, showing a strong interest in the intersection between research, innovation, and international collaboration. Passionate about fostering opportunities for students and young professionals in the space field, he is committed to building networks that empower the next generation of leaders.

Vincenzo Di Pietro is General Secretary of SEDS Italy, where he plays a key role in supporting the coordination and management of the association’s activities. Passionate about teamwork and organizational development, he contributes to strengthening the network of students and young professionals engaged in space exploration and innovation..

Christian Morganella
Christian Morganella is a Master’s student in International Relations and Affairs at Luiss Guido Carli, after completing his Bachelor’s in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at the same university with top marks. He is currently an Intern at the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, assisting the Diplomatic Advisor and conducting research in the fields of space and defense. In parallel, he serves as International Policy Specialist at the LUISS Center for International and Strategic Studies (CISS), where he contributes to the SPHERE research unit focused on space policies, humanities, and exogeographical studies. With strong interests in political science, diplomacy, and international cooperation, Christian is dedicated to bridging academic research with practical policy challenges.

Zoe Votta
Zoe Votta holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from Università degli Studi Roma Tre, where she graduated with full marks, after completing her Bachelor’s in Political Science and International Relations at Sapienza University of Rome. She has gained professional experience as a Research Intern at the Istituto di Ricerche Internazionali e Archivio Disarmo (IRIAD), as well as through an internship at the Embassy of Italy in Dublin, where she worked closely with the Ambassador. Currently, she serves as Head of Projects at SEDS Italy, contributing her expertise in research, policy analysis, and international affairs to advance the organization’s initiatives. Passionate about global governance and the dynamics of international cooperation, she is committed to fostering dialogue between the academic and policy-making worlds.

Ruben Arena

Ruben Arena is a Bachelor’s student in Management and Artificial Intelligence at Luiss Guido Carli. Within the university ecosystem, he is actively involved in SEDS Italy, where he has grown through multiple leadership roles and now serves as National President. Alongside his academic path, he works as a Data Analyst at JELU Consulting, combining technical expertise with strategic insight. He also gained international marketing experience through his internship at the multinational Clorox in Egypt, further enriching his global perspective. Passionate about the intersection of technology, space, and data, he aims to bridge innovation with real-world impact.
Luna Rita Veraldi


Luna Rita Veraldi is a fourth-year Law student in Luiss Guido Carli. She is the Managing Director of All Around Association and the President of SEDS Guido Carli. She’s been director of the Wonder Magazine journal and of the Drafting Experience project, as well. She’s always been keen on organising and managing events in the cultural and political field. She is also the Leader of the Law Society of the Roman residence of the College of Merit Don Nicola Mazza. She is looking forward to bring her contribution to the SEDS Italy Executive Board with her managing and organising skills.
Gabriele Di Carmelo

Gabriele Di Carmelo is Treasurer of SEDS Italy, where he supports the financial management and coordination of the association. In his role, he contributes to ensuring the smooth administration of projects and initiatives, fostering the sustainable growth of the organization.

Mattia Paglionico
Mattia Paglionico is a cadet at the Italian Air Force Academy in Pozzuoli, pursuing a degree in Management of Aerospace Systems for Defense at the University of Naples Federico II. His journey began at the “Giulio Douhet” Air Force Military School in Florence, where he earned a Scientific Studies diploma and developed strong foundations in discipline, leadership, and teamwork.
During his formation, Mattia took part in survival training at sea and in the mountains, introductory flight courses, and inter-military sports competitions, strengthening resilience and operational readiness. Alongside his military and academic commitments, he is passionate about photography, reading, and sports such as sailing, triathlon, trekking, and kitesurfing pursuits that reflect his drive for challenge and continuous growth.
